Guided by the vision of a “productive urban quarter,” Die Schmiede at Frankfurter Ring 227 is set to become a vibrant neighborhood with a high quality of stay on a 5.6-hectare site.
With a total gross floor area of approximately 160,000 square meters, this “productive urban quarter” will bring together offices, laboratories, and production facilities for future-oriented companies in sectors such as automotive, IT, life sciences, media, and research & development.
The concept is complemented by a wide range of neighborhood amenities including various gastronomic concepts, a café, retail spaces, a hotel, fitness facilities, additional everyday services, and spaces for art and culture. In doing so, the project also creates added value for the wider district and its immediate surroundings.
An architectural competition involving ten renowned national and international firms serves as the foundation for the quarter’s planning and the subsequent land-use planning process.
